Dan describeshis style as lo-fi modern-retro poster design, through his work he tries toreflect his surroundings and online culture.

“Like with a lot of my designs, the inspiration behind myWax Palace tee was music, this design specifically was inspired by Off the Air- Jennifer Lara.” The Off the Air tee expresses how dance fosters connectionand unity as well as how we can use this beautiful art form to become one.

From the age of 16, he has been uploading his personal workonline which has helped him grow as an artist and allowed him to gain an onlineaudience. Having grown this following he’s been able to acquire more freelanceprojects and produce and sell his own posters, zines and clothing.

Some of Dan’s favourite designs are his more recent ones.“I’m trying not to limit myself to design on a black background or designingjust for Instagram as much. I’m normally inspired by some great photography ormusic. Also got some unreleased stuff like my zine I’m working on as well asrecent unreleased client work.”

Pursuing his passion for design has led Dan to work withgreat people and brands such as HBN, Cool Shirtz, Puffco, Cody Ko, Weiss, Pyroand Twomad. “Being able to collaborate, getting to know cool people andproducing creative exciting outcomes has been an amazing experience and I’mlooking forward to my future as an artist in the online space.” To check outmore of his designs, head over to his Instagram and the Cyph. website!
