Behind jord.designs is Jordan Gadeke, a 22 year old graphic designer based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Jordan has been designing for as long as he can remember, he recalls the start of his journey in graphic design, when his father introduced him to photoshop in 2011. 10 years later and Jordan’s designs are now available to purchase on his website.

Jord.store was born out of COVID lockdown, Jordan’s inability to sit still and his love for creative expression. Whether it’s through an artwork print with a quote that relates to how you’re feeling, or a t-shirt that helps you express yourself a little bit better; the fundamental goal of jord.store is to bring hand-made, creative products to anyone that wants them. Jordan aspires to become a lifestyle brand, producing products to spruce up your room or serve a practical purpose, and he’ll also be working on including some super cool collaborative pieces with other artists to mix it up from time to time.

When talking about the inspiration behind his design for Wax Palace, Jordon said, ‘awful dancing with friends on a night out was my first thought when I was putting this together, and just capturing the atmosphere of good music and good people.’  The Love Thy Fellow Raver Tee conveys how dance can bring unity, connection and the creation of family. The tee is available to purchase now on our website.

Jordan’s love for creating identity and purpose runs deep. He describes his own artistic style as playfully illustrative with bold typography, pleasant colours and always featuring an underlying message of positivity or humour. We’ve included a personal favourite of Jordan’s, his Fresh Till’ Death illustration. ‘A light-hearted take on death and self-appreciation and it’s just a bit cheeky. The interaction between the character and the ghost just makes me smile!’ Check out more of Jordan’s designs on his Instagram and website.
